It is with great pleasure that we announce the 2018 Headphones Unboxed scholarship. This scholarship was created to help students understand the importance of sound quality and the impact it has on education.
Scholarship Award Amount: $1,300
Scholarship Application Deadline: August 20th, 2018.
Winner Announced: August 25th, 2018.
How to Apply
Please send your application to scholarship@headphonesunboxed.com along with the following document(s) and information:
■ A 900 to 1,000-word essay that answers the following question: How much of an impact does sound have on learning and education?
■ Your Name, address, e-mail address, the name of the current school you attend, and proof that you are a student.
■ A one-sentence explanation of why you deserve this scholarship.
How a Winner is Selected
All submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
■ Adherence to essay topic
■ Level of research invested
■ Originality
Requirements
All applicants must meet the following requirements to be considered for this scholarship:
■ At the time you submit your application, you must be registered as a full-time student at a high school, college or university.
■ U.S. Citizen (Only U.S. citizens are considered for this scholarship.)
Eligibility
■ Please note that past recipients of the Headphones Unboxed scholarship will not be considered.
■ All students who meet the above requirements may apply. You do not need to have previous experience with headphones or have studied audio engineering, music, or any other sound-related subject to apply for the scholarship.
■ Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Any student who submits an essay containing plagiarized content will be automatically disqualified.
